Unbelievable! They built a wall today!
Feb. 2nd, 2005 11:49 pmAmazing! Today while I was at work the building society actually built the wall into the hall closet. Of course they didn't fix the water damage to its ceiling, but at least it is one item off the to-do list...
Maybe it has something to do with the faxes I've been sending them each day this week. For illustration I included a few (ten) full-page photographs of the problem spots. Unfortunately it tied up my telephone for about 40 minutes each time, but hey, you should put some effort in delivering a clear message (so I just hope that the pictures were still actually recognisable as they received them (that's why they had to be so big, keeping in mind that the resolution of a fax is pretty poor) and that the ink, toner or paper didn't run out... that would really be a shame).
I also found a message on my answering machine, from somebody inquiring about replacing a toilet bowl. I fear there has been some miscommunication from the building society about that, since it has been replaced already, along with the complete other contents of my bathroom (well shower-toilet-bath-hall would be a more appropriate name for it but that's beside the point).
