Slamming, part 2
Oct. 24th, 2007 10:19 pmIt's been a while, and there have been several minor developments in the slamming saga. In sequence:
- KPN debited my bank account for the ADSL, referring to a bill which I never seem to have received. Nevertheless it means that the ADSL is administratively decoupled from the voice carrier, which is good.
- I got a bill from Tele2 for calls only, not subscription. This covered a period since the slamming happened. This was kind of strange but seemed encouraging.
- Today I received a bill from Tele2 for (apparently) subscription. This is not so good. But it contains my customer number (which I did not have previously due to receiving very few bills (I don't phone much)), so I could fill in the customer service question form, which requires said customer number. They promise to phone within 4 hours (but I bet it is too late in the evening for that now) or reply by email within 24 hours.
- I think I'll nevertheless phone them again tomorrow.
- They can't complain too much about me not paying their bill, since basically they are committing fraud.
