Glorifying terrorism illegal? How about glorifying freedom fighters, or "liberators". Such as in certain oil-rich countries in the east.
Some countries are further down the slippery slope than others.
CCTV surveillance covering significant parts of cities. In some respects it is already much worse than 1984.
In the name of freedom?
No, the terrorists have already won that way. And the people don't even realise it.
How many people watching "V for Vendetta" are aware just how topical it is?
