I just read a rather disappointing email from Cambridge, reversing on something from the weekend... it even ends in "Anyway, wishing you all the best" which has this implied side meaning of "okay, go away now". I thought I was getting used to it but I keep being amazed by how little I seem to understand people (or how little they understand me, perhaps)...
