Oh, and along with BiCon comedown and the discovery of Isabelle's lj draft post, there was another thing today: a friend called me at work to let me know that a mutual friend of ours has died a few days ago, also of cancer. I hadn't seen him very much since he moved out of town. The funeral is Saturday. Everybody seems to die of cancer these days.
