I have a horrible cold
Aug. 2nd, 2007 10:36 amI've been away to the south of France for a week and a half (I just got back last night), and on the day I left, I got a bad cold which still hasn't gone away. My nose is full (so my sense of smell is even less than usual) and my ears are not hearing much either, and there's the headaches (and face-aches) too (but they change so they are at least some variation). Why must this stuff always happen in the summer?
(This also means that I'm behind a lot on reading my friends-list, of course)

Date: 2007-08-04 05:10 am (UTC)and i have a question for you - what stuff do I need to bring from the uk for us to use in germany. I half expecting to make a run to a big out of town type store in either netherlands or germany to get stuff - but it would be good to know what to get nowish?

Date: 2007-08-04 09:41 am (UTC)There should be food available but I usually prefer some of my own breakfast stuff, esp. if they are only serving at specific times. I know you like to do things big but refrain from bringing microwaves or electric ovens :-) They load the electric system too much, it's all needed for the computers. Oh yes, bring a computer with network and power cables :-)

I'm a bit concerned about lights any ideas?
I will of course be bring a

a couple of 54 gs usb adapters
some ethernet cable
a crimp tool
gaffa tape

multiple multi gang sockets (which 1 will adapt in europe)
do you need a dect phone btw as I have a couple spare
I could bring a laser printer with me - is that over the top?

re bike rack: I thought to leave my bike home so Alexa can use it to get around town. I went to WTH on my bike but I didn't use it much locally.
