Simple hosting providers in the UK?
Apr. 12th, 2009 04:07 pmIsabelle has a small website for her therapy practice. It is just a handful of static pages. The only thing the provider adds is some simple template-based editing facility. However this costs her something like ₤ 30 a month. That sounds far too expensive for me (I'm thinking that one can have at least a full year of hosting for that kind of money). Can anybody point in some cheaper direction? Thanks!

It'd be easy to stick the content into a WordPress system, then it just becomes an issue of how much like the current one it has to look.

Good luck! And a big hug for Isabelle. How is she doing?

So she's on some sort of preventative treatment with a Dr Etienne Callebout now, which involves a diet and taking supplements. It is less strict than what she did before, when it wasn't known that the PET scan showed no cancer anymore. (There hasn't been a second scan, for some unknown reason). Slowly she is trying to get a grip on planning the future, but sometimes despair temporarily gets the upper hand :-(
