Small update on what next...

Some of you had questions about saying goodbye to Isabelle, a memorial service, or the funeral.
The funeral is going to be in France. I don't know yet when this will be; it is arranged on behalf of Isabelle's family from the French side, since they are all there. Given some experience I have, I don't expect things to be arranged within a week. British bureaucracy is slow.
Isabelle is currently in the mortuary of UCL Hospital on 235 Euston Road. For some strange reason, it is closed the whole weekend. Several people have tried to arrange a visit on sunday, at 15.00 (they cannot make it earlier, nor the following days), but we have run into a wall. As an alternative, I propose instead to meet at Isabelle's house at that time. A few people have already expressed a desire to be there, so it will hopefully be a good occasion to share memories of Isabelle. Perhaps it is a good idea to bring a little to eat or drink.
Soon I hope to collect some pictures of Isabelle on a website somewhere, perhaps with a possibility for other people to contribute too.
I will be at Isabelle's house the weekend and monday until about 18.30. Then I fly home to stay with my parents for a bit, and to continue to France at some point. I had already booked this flight on tuesday evening. Originally I was to go home the previous monday (the 15th), as I usually do, but when she was being admitted and the time neared that I would have to leave her, Isabelle asked me to stay with her, and I needed only a short time to decide that I would give up my return flight and book another one. I am so happy that I made that decision!
(Going back even further, originally Isabelle was supposed to visit me in the previous weekend (4-8 march), but she was already not feeling well so she stayed home, and I booked flights for the next, i.e. last weekend (11-15), to visit her instead.)
If/when there is any more information to give, I will post it in this journal.
