Update on funeral date

I spoke on the phone with Rémy (who is a neighbour of the family and fortunately speaks English; that makes it so much easier for me, since my French isn't sufficient to express the things I need to express). The expectation is that the funeral will be Friday or more likely Saturday.

Added: Sunday (the 28th) will be her birthday. She would have become 45.

Yes, sure! Everybody who is a friend is, as far as I am concerned, welcome. Otherwise I wouldn't mention it here. Isabelle's parents live in Montrond-les-Bains (postcode 42210), in departement Loire. That is somewhat near Saint-Etienne or Lyon. So it would be there.
