When I got home from my short vacation, I found a note from the postman that he had tried to deliver a package while I was away. There was no sender listed. I wasn't expecting anything in particular, except possibly the first shipment of the Massive Vance. So thursday morning I went to the postal agency (they don't do real post offices here any more, even the main post office has been closed and now sports a supermarket) to collect it. To my surprise it was a package from the parents of Isabelle.
I didn't really have the time to open it until late in the afternoon. There was a big box of chocolates for my birthday, and a small box with a bracelet of Isabelle's, with her name in relief. It must have been hers when she was young (I didn't think it was something she would have worn in the last 20 years). It had a note which said "It would have been her wish, and both of us, we wish it too". I was completely overwhelmed, such an emotional piece...
Tonight Maguy phoned, and I thanked her a lot for it.
