rhialtoI just read that Jack Vance passed away this weekend...
Jack is my favourite author of all time. At one time in the distant past, when I needed a nickname, I tried out different ones for size. One stuck. Rhialto. I hoped that the name would convey to me some of his magical properties and appeal to romantic partners. Maybe it helped, but the name stuck anyway...
