This was also where #soc.bi was... but nobody has said much in there for many many months.
ETA: For who didn't catch what happened to the FreeNode irc network: it got taken over (well, it was sold off some time ago) to some guy who started messing with day to day operations, unilaterally changed the policies, etc etc, and is now pissing off all open source projects that were organizing their chats there by hijacking their chat channels. Among many others, this has happened to the #wikipedia and #ubuntu channels.
