rhialto I just wanted to do some relaxing nostalgic reading of 30-years old Usenet at http://olduse.net/.... and they have ended! They had 10 years worth of archives and they ended in june 1991... Comp.sys.amiga was in full swing. I think that soc.bi was to be created soon.... but it isn't there. Such a bummer...

Date: 2021-07-19 09:11 pm (UTC)Well, at least I managed to find and download a copy of "utzoo-wiseman-usenet-archive", even though it has been censored off archive.org. Only 2.0 GB, and what's a GB among friends, if we're talking about 10 years of history. Re-compressed from gzip to xz it's even only 1.2 GB.
