There is a sort of less ambitious version of What The Hack and the other hacker camping events: http://www.eth-0.nl/. Again, it is in August, the 10th to the 13th. Tickets are now on sale (early bird price is € 125).
I'm not 100% I'm going but it is definitely something I am considering. Kind of interesting that it is during the week but good that it fits with summer darkness then!
